We follow the emotional journey of the siren Thex as she navigates the fatal waters of love and sexual power dynamics, confronting her discomfort with her own hyper-sexualized image, the complexities of her romantic involvement with Orpheus, and her powerful bond with Persephone. She begins as a seductress sinker of ships and ends a broken girl working to rebuild herself in the underworld. It is told through both modern language and jazz music, sung on the rocks of the sirens island and then on the speakeasy-inspired stage of the nightclub, Hades.

Throw.Me.Under.World is a sultry experimental musical inspired by Greek Mythology. It radically reinterpreting myths such as The Fall of Persephone, Orpheus’s Defeat of the Sirens, and the story of Orpheus and Eurydice.
